Which brings me to May 2011 and a Skype phone call Tonya and I received from a fellow photographer Holli True, and makeup artist Renee Tyburczy. This phone call was an offer to combine our strengths in photography and styling and launch a new brand called TNT Workshops (True, Naccarato, Tyburczy). Because of the success of Holli’s existing workshops was the reason for the new venture, which was to bring even more education to photographers in several different areas.
Together we are taking Be Inspired to an entirely new level. We want you to leave our workshop inspired to go out and be confident enough to achieve your goals in photography. What inspire’s us you may ask? If you look at the image below THIS! A themed World War II era photo-shoot, complete with aircraft and beautiful models!

A friend of mine told me a story back in May of an elderly lady he had met in which the conversation led to her showing him into her barn. Inside this huge barn was a wrecked 1940′s WWII airplane. She told him her husband purchased the plane from the military during that time and one day was flying it around and ran out of gas. He tried to switch tanks, but the switch failed and he ended up crash landing it into the Molalla River. Luckily he was alright and decided to salvage the plane. He had it lifted out of the river and placed in his barn to repair it. As time went buy he purchased a couple original, still sealed in the crates, engines and had them shipped to his barn. As years went by with him working on it, he developed Alzheimer’s and for obvious reasons it never got fixed unfortunately.
Anyway, talking about that era of airplanes, myself having taken about 15 hours of flying lessons while in the Marine Corps, and loving old war movies (especially John Wayne) I asked my friend (who is a flight instructor) if he knew of anybody who had old vintage aircrafts such as those where I could possible do a photo-shoot? To my amazement he started emailing photos reading, “I can get you one of these, one of these, and maybe even one of these.” Game on! He came though with the connections and all they needed was a date. The owners of these beautiful planes were at a private hanger in Oregon and they are nestled away in God’s Country.
I couldn’t wait to tell Tonya and we were elated that “someday” we would do a photo-shoot with these planes. Well, that day came quicker than I imagined! A couple weeks later we were on Skype with Holli and I told her about the planes. She about fell over in her chair! She told me it was on her “bucket list” to do this type of shoot as well as mine. So with some quick planning and discussions we made it happen. So, what better time to share this inspiration shoot with others by making this the theme for our TNT Portland Workshop! Our hope is that you will be as equally as thrilled to get this once in a lifetime opportunity!
This specific theme will be for our Portland, Oregon workshop August 28-30, 2011. Space is limited, sign up now. We are in the process of coming up with other concepts for the other workshops we have scheduled throughout 2011, all over the US. We can’t wait to meet you and for you to be inspired.”
If you want to spend 2 days with us, shooting, learning, growing, laughing and building relationships- the Be Inspired Workshop is for you.
