I am very excited to join forces with Holli True to bring you a fun workshop in Las Vegas February 19, 2012!
If you are a photographer that will be in Las Vegas attending the annual WPPI Conference at the MGM, are arriving on Saturday or early Sunday morning, and want to do a photo-shoot with High School Senior Model’s, learn how to get your flash off-camera, and learn easy ways to pose your clients then you are in luck. We are doing a workshop that does just that!
I have been lucky enough to have learned off-camera lighting from local portland artists such as Craig Mitchell-Dyer and Eric Holen who are great photographers. I’ve also learned from a Canon Explorer of Light and world renowned professional photographer Bob Davis of Bob & Dawn Davis Photography and Design. One thing that I’ve learned is to “pay it forward” and teach others. I love this profession because all you can do is try and get better at your craft everyday by studying the best, shooting, reading, and pushing yourself to try new things.
Besides Holli and myself, at the workshop will be my wife Tonya (awesome stylist and my real boss), Jeff True (another great photographer/videographer), Renee Tyburczy (phenomenal makeup artist), and two beautiful models to shoot and use in your portfolios. We love meeting new photographers and why wouldn’t we want to do some shooting in Sin-City! To register click HERE. We only have four (4) spots left so if you’re thinking about it now is the time.
Below is a short video we did of our WWII Photo-shoot we did this past summer. Now I know what your thinking…we’re shooting awesome vintage airplanes in Vegas? No. However, it’s Vegas and one of the biggest playgrounds and a visual feast. See you in Vegas!
