MEET THE JENSEN’S :: WEST LINN FAMILY PORTRAITS

When Tonya and I got the call from Ms. Allie Jensen to photograph her family we couldn’t say yes fast enough over the phone.

Allie and her kids have been a part of our lives for quite a few years and were moving to another home in the area and wanted to capture some images at home before they moved (as well as update their family photos).  On a beautiful day we went to their home and photographed them in their element.  Kids playing and hanging in the areas they had grown up around.  Below are some of the images we created that day.

THE JOHNSON’S : A SMALL COUNTRY FAMILY :: BEND PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Meet the Johnson’s! It is still weird for me to say since “Mrs. Johnson” is my beautiful daughter Kayla. Just a couple weeks ago Tonya, I, and Brandon met some good friends in Bend to go boating, and camping for a week at Lake Billy Chinook.

With a little bit of planning Kayla & Micah (Mr. Johnson) were able to take a day off and come see us at the campsite and bring along baby Justus!

When they arrived and all the hugs were over, my lovely daughter said, “Hey dad, now can you take some pictures of us pretty please :) ”  I looked at the sun setting quickly and the race was on to find a location, my camera, and hustle before it was too late.  Luckily our wonderful friends the Hoesly’s said they had seen small historical house just down the road that looked awesome.  We were totally game!  We all jumped in the truck and headed down the road to find this small country homestead that looked like it had been there 100 years.  I grabbed my camera, Tonya grabbed a reflector, and the 15 minute race was on.  We were able to capture some images for them just before the sun went behind Mt. Bachelor.

We returned to camp and of course my family notices the old tractor sitting in a field behind the campsite and off we went to grab a few more while we still had some daylight.  I was so proud of Justus!
