When one of our great neighbors suggested going to see the Oregon Zoo lights it sounds like a great idea. Get some exercise, hang out with my family and friends, have a little snack, see some cool lights…yada yada yada…. All good right? Well they left out that it would be 30 degrees outside, parking off-site to stand in line for an hour, then stand in more lines to get through the door, and a 45 minute line to get on a train ride (that was pretty disappointing to say the least). What good came out of it? Spending time with family and friends….was it worth it? You bet. Here’s a quick glimpse of the lights through my iPhone…
